We’re done with exams… Results announced…It is Graduation day. The concept of Two Paths in Life was the final speech of the principal, which sparked too much excitement. As he arrived, he congratulated the students and gave a short speech filled with lots of advice. In conclusion, he noted that decisions we make today shape our tomorrow. We are always faced with two paths in life, and our choice determines our future.
The way we live as students significantly impacts our adult lives. There are always two paths to take…
Study for knowledge over the long term or study to get good marks in a particular course?
Do you pay attention to the teacher explaining, the boy/girl sitting next to you, or some fancy stationery that the other student brought to class?
Examiners are not watching. Do you want to look at someone else’s answer sheet or concentrate on your own?
You still have time. Do you prefer to revisit important topics or simply surf the channels on TV?
(These are just a few instances to mention… there are many more!!!)
Life as an adult has two paths.
As an adult, choosing the right path becomes very important. Are our choices shaped by our thoughts or by the influence of others? Or do we choose according to our health or money? The reason why it’s so vital is that we are living with them. We’ve made choices about what path we are going to follow in life. It doesn’t matter if it’s a profession to choose or a partner to choose or a place to live…there will always be the Two Paths.
Having chosen to walk on it for a long time, it now becomes The Path in Life – forever.
No matter which path you choose, there are consequences, whether good or bad.
I want the freedom to do what I want to do and go where I want to go. No one should be telling me what I can or cannot do. The path is up to you. Nobody else must concern themselves with it, just you. If you continue to live that kind of life, you will experience the consequences that come with that path.
It is up to us to make a choice. The Two Paths of Life always exist… What’s your choice…
